My appointment was at 9am but I work nightshift and they told me to go ahead and come in when I got off work. I was in and out well before 9am.

Salesman was very knowledgeable, and helpful. I will be sending my friends and family to him for sure!

I was told to come in at 7 and when I did they stated that the tech didn't come in till 8. It took about 2 hours and $70 to patch my tire.

I took my car in for a recall and an issue that has persisted for over a year. MAYBE the recall was fixed, I don't trust it was. When I brought it in, the codes were run. It said that one was a misfire. When it came time to work on it, the Check engine light mysteriously was no longer on. The Techs drove it about 20 miles to get it to come back on. Since it didn't, no additional work was done. When I drove it on the local intrastate, speed limit 70mph, it turned on again. I do not trust this dealership, and will be driving out of town to have the recall checked for completion at a different dealership, and will continue to go out of my way to avoid this location. Landers McClarty Chevrolet will never get my business, even if I have to pay for a tow that my insurance wouldn't cover. I do not trust this location.

Well this was my first experience to buy a new vehicle and let me tell you it was a wonderful experience! Daphne was phenomenal she even sent me a personalized video. I had dealt with about 3 other dealerships before I came to Lander’s McClarty and none of them treated me as kind as I was treated there. The staff was knowledgeable about the different packages available and let me test drive whatever I wanted. Peter was also involved in the deal he was very polite and helpful in my decision to trade my used 2012 chevy Cruze. They gave me a fair quote on the trade and made it worth it to me. Also being a veteran they treated me with respect and offer tons of savings to military that was very helpful. Also Tim was a pleasure to work with on my extended warranty’s purchase. All in all I give them a 10/10 in all categories I will absolutely be buying all my vehicles from them from now on! They treated me like family and I am glad to be a part of it.

This is a very honest establishment. If they can’t fix it, they will tell you and point you in the right direction. JT was wonderful to work with the entire process. Our salesperson, Devinn , was extremely knowledgeable concerning the features of every vehicle he showed us. He spent all the time we needed to answer our questions. He was great. Our only complaint is that our vehicle did not have floor mats. He asked us to come back the next day so he could get them out of the parts department, which was locked on Sunday. however, when we came back on Monday, we learned that the vehicle had actually not been shipped with any floor mats. So we wasted the trip. They ordered more and we are waiting to go pick them up. So there was a little bit of disorganization there.

Oil change, tire rotation and recall. It got me home. What can they mess up Service manager was very nice and polite.

Drop truck off 4/24/25 with transmission issues. They said it would late Friday before they could get to it. I understand. No word on Friday. Call at end of day Monday. They haven’t looked at it and 4 vehicles are now/still ahead of me. I text on 5/1/25 about an update, no response. I call on 5/5/25. Working with GM, can’t get parts , but getting a new transmission will be covered under warranty, no forecast when it can be done. Cant get you a loner car. I text a couple more times just for updates. Nothing. I go up there in person. Service rep I was working with wasn’t there. Service manager gets me a few answers and promises to get truck fixed by 5/13/25. He does everything he says. Get a bill for $1200 for a bad wiring harness not a new transmission and oh your warranty ran out on 3/1/25. Truck is fixed happy about that, but will no longer use that dealership for anything

I had a 7am appointment to have my car serviced. The service rep took the car and had the work performed in a timely manner. I paid and drove away at 7:45. Service was quick and efficient!

Given an estimate for an oil change, then overcharged at time of pickup. Had to dispute the charge and wasted time waiting. What kind of reputable dealership can accurately estimate an oil change? Feels like a scam; something like a “bait and switch.”

Quick and easy process

Well, heading to the dealership I had my check engine light come on. When I arrived, I told Stephen Collie and he went out to the truck and checked the light. It showed that a sensor was not working. So he told me what had to happen, that they would have to run a diagnostic to make sure which sensor was not working. So,I waited to find out what we had looking at,and I called my wife and she came and got me. Due to the storms Tuesday, when Stephen called he said my truck was done and I told him that I would have to pick it up the next day. So the next morning my wife took me too the dealer. Stephen had everything ready for me and while I was paying my bill ,he brought my truck to me. He explained what they had to do and also checked on tires for me . Everything was great and I would definitely recommend Landers McLarty Chevrolet dealer. Thank You

Where is everybody? In the past years there has been a whole row of personnel work the check in counter. 2 separate days I came in and there was 1 or 2. Dropped of my vehicle a day ahead. Was the longest wait I have ever had to check a vehicle in. Now to their defense it was no more than 15 minutes. But like I said it was not the usual service. Have you Charged Service Department Manager?

I was in and out fairly quickly however, I got my truck back with oily fingerprints and oil streaks on my hood and quarter panel. I've sent an email w/pictures of aforementioned problems.

The service representative was great but the repairman that serviced my vehicle, left the luggage nuts off my rear wheel and my wheel came off across the street from the dealership. The supervisor came to see the damage and called a wrecker service. I am very disappointed and thinking of moving my vehicle service. Events like this can and should be prevented with the proper quality checks in place. The after actions was appropriate and appreciated, but the risk that I faced and the risks to others were inexcusable and preventable I was told that a new wheel was ordered and will be replaced and I do hope the lug studs are replaced as well, since they rubbed and rounded out the rim holes with no nuts on them.

The best part about your dealership is, that none of your salesmen were pushy. They never tried to force me into purchasing. Everyone was extremely friendly and made us feel important!

Easy and effortless

With caution in mind, I had my Chevy Volt towed to the dealership. It had displayed a leak of undetermined origin. I didn’t know if it was water vapor or oil that had turned into a vapor. My vehicle is a 2013 model in excellent condition with relatively low mileage, 70,000 to be exact, and I felt it had a lot of life remaining in it. The problem turned out to be an oil leak from the head cover. When they repaired it replacing the seal, they went the extra mile and replacing the head cover itself. Yes, it cost me more, but I appreciate them going the extra mile since the head cover had to be removed anyway. Once the problem was discovered or confirmed they had a repair the same day. All in all excellent work. The dealership will always be my go to for work to be done on my car..

I arrived at 0700 for an oil change and was told that the Shuttle Driver does not arrive until 0800. by 0730, my vehicle service was complete and my vehicle was brought to me. This was absolutely fantastic customer service.

I was told hour to hour half for oil change. Ended up it was a little over 2 hours. And at previous dealerships they wash the car before you get it back.

My only issue is that I would have rather had a ride back to work (it was my first time getting an oil change/rotation at this dealership and didn’t know how long it would be), than to sit for around 2 hours. I texted the service associate that would be assisting me with anything service related to see if I needed to request a ride back to work, but never heard back. I dealt with it, however—I’ll just request a ride immediately vs. sitting for unknown amounts of time. Service wise, everything was great.

Mr Turk and the technical staff of the service department are both efficient and courteous, as are the ladies who take your payment.

My experience getting my tire rotation and oil change for the first time was wonderful. They took me as a walk-in and I was there less than an hour, which was awesome. However, I do have a comment about the 2025 Chevy traverse cargo mat. I bought them off the app and they were shipped to the dealership, however the mat for the third row on the back seat does not come with the space already cut out to pull the string through. My personal opinion is if I buy the cargo mat the pull out for the string should already be cut out. I was told it would be 90 something dollar labor to cut it out for me and I said that was ok. And it is probably my fault because when I ordered the mats, I could’ve paid an extra $20 for Chevy to install them, but I just thought that it was a simple thing and i’ve been putting my own car mats in my car for years that I could do it myself.

We had a great experience ordering a new Chevy and the dealership worked hard to get it out the door in time for a big trip.

All I did was have my oil changed. When looking at the charges, a cleaner was used which I didn't ask for. On top of that, my check engine light started to turn on the same day after my oil change which hasn't been any issue before. I wasn't able to get in touch with anyone as the dealership was closed but need to speak with somebody today 06.23.25

Anderson told me 2 hours to complete the work and he called me when as promised when it was done. Christian came to the service department and visited me. Tire was on 10 when I made it to the battery story. I took off and while I'm driving I looked at my tire pressure. I'm like do they ever do a complete walk around. I guess not. All They want is money and to rip off people. They charged me for a battery that I didn't need. I took mines back that I bought elsewhere and had them to charge it. They told me to call back the next morning to check. How about it was good. Landers mechanics are a rip off and they never fully check your vehicle as asked. Instead they are telling me I need rotors and brakes on the back. At this point I can't trust them. I will be going today to talk to the service manager. And then my attorney to see if anything can be done. This has got the be the worst dealership around. Maybe I need to go live on Facebook. Cause yawl not about to keep ripping people off. We work hard for our money. Might I add. I called to speak to a server manager on Saturday. He was there but busy. So I left my number. He never called back. Straight crooks. And don't go to Champion Chevrolet in Athens. They charged me $700 and something for a backup camera I did not need. Still same issues.

The general service experience was good. It is possible that the negative part is Chevrolet corporate caused. That part is not resetting the air bag warning light and the replace air bag warning indicator message below the speedometer after the recall notice work was completed. Corporate may want to only cover the minimum cost. I was told that turning off the indicators would require a diagnostic. I assume the is an extra cost procedure that covers much more analysis. True? This means that these two indicators no longer mean anything. The job, on the surface appears incomplete.

Brandon Dyer is an amazing service employee! He always goes out of his way to make sure I am taken care of before, during, and after my visit. I have purchased my last two vehicles from Landers only because I know I will get the best service in town from Brandon. Brandon is knowledgeable and friendly and always serves with a smile. Fantastic service

Severely overcharged for a tire balance and didn’t get the service I came for the 2nd time. Again, did not discuss the price of the tire balancing and stated that I was given the wrong price for an alignment and refused to honor the quoted price.

My experience was great!

After scheduling oil change/rotation w/discount from LMC, and arriving for the service, I was overcharged for 9 quarts of oil (only holds 8) and discount was wrong. One of the clerks was disengaged and seemed uncaring. The Service techs reviewed quickly and made the appropriate changes.

The labor time for the work on my vehicle said to be four to five hours but it was less then that time which didn’t add up to the amount I was charged. I’m honestly going to investigate this service dept .

I've had better experiences at other dealership. First, the machine to check alignment was not working so the alignment couldn't be checked. I did get an alignment but I didn't get a print out to show previous and final alignment numbers like I am used to; Second, I knew going in that one of my tire pressure sensors wasnt reading but after my appointment all of my sensors were not reading tire pressure. I was told that it was reset by mistake and I they couldn't get the three working sensors to read again unless I fixed the bad one which would be over $200; Third, I asked for mulitpoint inspection and did not receive a print out that details the inspection and any areas of concerns; for example, do my brakes need to replaced soon?Other dealearship provide this information; Fourth, I was asked if I wanted a sticker that let me know when my next service and I said yes and when I went to put the sticker on the windshield, the date was from the past and the mileage was nowhere close to what would be on my truck when the next service would be due and lastly, other dealerships have free snacks in the waiting area for customers. I feel with the amount of money that is spent for service some free nuts, cookies, chips or Chez-Its should be available. I will be visiting the Chevrolet dealership in Decatur or Fayetteville for my service.

Excellent Customer Service

Recently, I took my 2017 Volt in for service to correct a "check engine" light which appeared while driving the vehicle. I called the service department and set up an appointment to bring the car in. I brought the car in at the date and time requested expecting the work to be performed at that time. Unfortunately, the car was not even looked at much less fixed until over a week later. Had parts needed to be ordered to perform the repairs, even more time would have been required. When I called to get status updates either the service adviser was not available or the person on the call could not get me any information. Call messages which were left often did not returned. I find this type of service unacceptable. Don't give customers a meaningless appointment schedule and then keep them in the dark. If you can't do the work for a week, tell them you can't do the work for a week. Don't have people bring their car in only to have it languish in the parking lot until you can eventually get around to fixing it. This is most discourteous. Second, I have noticed that over time the electric range on the Volt has gradually decreased. This was not unexpected since I know that batteries can become weaker as they age. What I wanted to know was whether there was some way in which the batteries could be rejuvenated as opposed to replacing them. I had heard somewhere that this might be possible so I wanted to pursue this course of action should that be the case. Rather than a yes/no reply with some sort of explanation, all I got was a "this is normal" which I already knew. Lastly, I wanted to see if the clock could be set such that it would use GPS signals to continually keep the time correct. There is an option to do this, however, due to what I believe is a bug in the software, this option cannot be set properly. As a consequence, I have to reset the clock periodically to keep the time at least approximately correct. I was hoping that your technicians might have some workaround for this bug, however, all they did was reset the clock to the correct the time, not fix the problem. At the very least they could have indicated the problem was unfixable if there was nothing they could do. So as to end on at least a small positive note, after having complained a bit, your service department did at least properly fix the "check engine" light problem expensive though it was. I am told that the mechanic doing the job even came in at 4:30 am to get the job done.

Very Timely

First off, I will say I never like the process of buying a new car. I will say that the folks here were friendly, had a good selection, helped me get the financing I wanted, and weren’t overly pushy to make the sale. I give 3 stars instead of more for 2 main reasons: 1) we had completed most of the paperwork before we drove from Tennessee to get the truck, but still waited 3.5 hours to get out of there with the truck while we had our 2 small children with us (they were amazing with the kids though, the time we spent there was the issue) 2) I was told that they were going to clean up the truck, as it had been used as a loaner truck before and had a stain on the back seat and evidence of some use with dirt and dust in the truck - after waiting 3.5 hours to finally get to leave, it was evident that the truck was, in fact, not detailed nor cleaned on the interior at all. It wasn’t worth waiting around any longer to complain about at the time as my kids and us had not eaten in over 5 hours, more of a problem for 2 year olds than us. This being said, I would be willing to do business with these folks again if they would make sure the next new vehicle I purchase from them was detailed like every other new vehicle I have purchased was.

We were not aware the dealership was open on Sunday. Once arriving we were greeted by Peter. I was shopping for a full size truck but after testing driving the Silverado, I just didn’t feel comfortable. After driving an Equinox, I felt like I was driving a boat. After getting back to the dealership, I told Peter I wanted to shift my focus to the Colorado. He was patient, polite and knowledgeable about the features on both the full size and mid-size trucks. After tea driving the Colorado, he put some figures together and we drove away in the Colorado.

We were directed to Lander's McLarty Chevrolet upon applying for a car loan. We did not have cash down, but a trade with great equity. They notified us, but we were already on vacay in Florida. Upon our return they had us come in to look at our communicated car preferences. We expected to look at new 2025 models. Upon our entering the parking lot, we spotted a brand new car color on the Chevy Trax Activ. It grabbed our attention. After meeting with our Rep Devinn, he took us to look at that exact car and also offered us to look at the 2025 Cacti color we had originally inquired about. There was no turning back once seeing it, sitting in it, and driving the White Sand 2026 Chevy Trax Activ. We traded in our 2024 Chevy Trax Crimson Metalic Red all in that same initial visit. I brought my Tahoe in for a service on 9/8 as it was scheduled for an oil change. I have been taking my vehicle to Decatur for service as I have not been pleased with the service I received previously. Every time I scheduled service there is always a new group of service technicians. This time I had Kyle and he was by far one of the most helpful techs I have worked with here. I had to bring my car in early due to my work schedule and Kyle was right there to assist and get keep me on schedule. If there is anything that you can do to keep Kyle please do!

I had bought a brand new Chevy equinox ev and it broke down (brake issues) the very next day. The car was in the shop for 2.5 months getting fixed and I got 2 out the 3 issues fixed. The issue that was not fixed was the vehicle alignment, which was off as I mentioned when I handed the car off and agreed upon by the service folks, but was still not fixed. Citing some GM policy while all of this still being under warranty. Disappointed by this as I will have to bring the car again and another day when it meets the "GM criteria" and waste more of my time. Having said that the people working on communicating with my and giving us loaner were very good and professional, we appreciate how they handled things despite the overall short coming of my brand new car not being fixed completely.

Better than I was expecting for a Sunday, the persons exceeded my expectations and fulfilled everything that makes a good dealership a dealership. The fact is I have gotten use to doing everything electronically and you store has none of that everything I had done online was useless and there was no point. It feels to me as if your Chevy dealership is playing the catch-up game and the rest of the industry has moved on. The people did there job very well. I am still waiting on finance and some paperwork. Again other car companies and dealers have this in the bag on day one.

My service was not very good. I came in for an oil change and a recall. I was there for 3 1/2 hours with no update. I finally had to go and find someone to update me on my car. They told me it was almost ready but I had to wait another hour. Then when I went to check out the lady behind the desk was extremely rude. She didn't even look at me. She just looked down at the desk and acted like I was bothering her. I like to come here because I purchased the last two of my vehicles here but the service seems to get worse every time I come.

Poor communication. I dropped off my truck due to the door not locking and explained that the door lock actuator was replaced 2 times the previous week and to please look at the BCM and any potential grounding issues. This was ignored and i was told it was the door lock actuator. The personnel would not even discuss further and gave me a ridiculous price to replace what I said was confirmed not to be the issue. I still ended up paying the Analysis fee of $200 and did not get any work performed. I was very disappointed. I am an aerospace quality engineer and know how to work on vehicles. I do not have the specialized tooling required for electrical analysis is why I went to the dealership.

I am very happy with the actual service work performed and Scott the service advisor was very friendly and helpful. However, I had an appointment at 10:15 on Saturday morning, arrived at approximately 10:17 and my truck went straight in. I was told it would take about an hour 15, hour 30 minutes. It took over 3 hours. Your posted pricing is very competitive and I would be willing to continue to bring my truck to you for service because I can make an appointment but it absolutely cannot take that kind of time for basic service work to be performed.
